Our trip to Sud Tirol (norhtern Italy or southern Austria whichever way you like to say it!!)

In a hut high up in the mountains in Sud Tirol, we shared an amazing, traditional meal (lots of food!) with Angelika, Rene, Noel and (pictured) Barbie, Martin, Magdalena and Anna. There were about 5 courses, including pasta, meat, sausages, sauerkraut, wine (lots of it), freshly roasted chestnuts, special Austrian pancakes...the list goes on. The idea was to have a small lunch, then go hiking but when the clouds rolled in and it started snowing......well we stayed inside the hut all afternoon and ate, drank and listened to Martin play the Pianoacordian.
