The amazing people that you meet.....

When you travel, it's often the people you meet that make your trip so much more interesting and enjoyable. We have relied heaps on locals in each place we have visited for information, tips on what to see, where to go and always, always for directions!

Today we were cycling from Windemere to Lacaster and met another friendly local. Rob is a local cyclist, who at first went flying past us up a hill! He then offered to navigate us through the maze of the local roads. Not only did he save us from going the super hilly way, but saved us loads of time that was potentially spent standing on the roadside studying our road map and trying to figure out which turn to take next! So, as Rob chaperoned us through some beautiful country roads, we chatted and had a brilliant cycle into Lancaster.
